Expansion

As the new year dawns, I am more determined than ever to unleash my creative vision and indulge my passion for surreal photography. After all, what better time than the beginning of a new year to start expanding on my creativity?

My head is filling up like a balloon ready to pop with new ideas and inspiration. These ideas are drifting off into each piece I do no matter how unusual the photograph might be. I am determined to take my photography to the next level this year by experimenting with surreal techniques and styles.

I’ve done it, but I haven’t lived it. I would hit my portfolio with a surreal piece ever so often and find myself going back to what’s normal, and common to me. I love what I consider normal. It’s easy for me to produce, and lets me be able to lay back and focus more on other things in my life. Yet, it doesn’t keep me consistent, creative, and challenged. I love a challenge.

Pouring out my art is the only focus I have. Finding ways to challenge me, diving into pieces that excite me, and influencing the desire I have is vital. I plan to provide insight into the process of expanding my surreal photography and how it has impacted my work over the course of blogging.

(I am not a Second Life blogger for any brands. You will not find every credit here from my photographs. If I remember or have the time I will list the products. If there is something missing or you’re curious about; as always contact me.)
