The Overgrown Man

A man overgrows in his own element, allowing the changes that are occurring within him to become more apparent on the outside.

I don’t recognize the man I was a year ago. The lessons I’ve learned have developed within me and taught me lessons I’ve put into practice. I haven’t changed; I’ve evolved and learned that my past traumatic experiences have brought me a more balanced, controlled, and merciful life.

I look back and I find such dangerous beauty in who I was. I believe those experiences were necessary for the growth I have today; that’s why its beautiful.

While artistic growth is apparent, my spiritual growth have overcame a whirlwind of sentiment.
